4 Top Tips to Vastly Improve Your Skin

The skin is the largest organ of the body, so it’s incredibly important to treat it with care every day. If you, like me, are obsessed with maintaining your youthful glow, here are four tips to make that a reality.

  1. Wash your face twice at night. Once to remove the day’s grime…a second time to ensure your face is squeaky clean. I use Perfect Image LLC’s  Salicylic Deep Gel Exfoliating Cleanser – Enhanced with Tea Tree Oil & Green Tea Extract (Professional). This stuff is amazing.   2. Wash your face early in the evening and put your anti-aging products–Retin-A, Copper serums, etc.–on at that time. This gives them time to work their magic as you are still active with blood circulating.   3. Use a toner. This is an important step that many skip. It helps to remove any grime that may remain and maintains skin’s pH levels.
  4. Don’t wear too much makeup. All these layers of contour creams, concealer, and heavy foundations add up to skin getting congested and being unable to breathe. Use minimal makeup and only where you need it. I use a heavy foundation–Dermablend–which I love, but I am careful to get it all off at night and I don’t use any contour creams.
